QUICKCUT LOG SPLITTER

Starting at: $199.95

Now you can cut a slab of soap
into uniform size logs with ease!

The frame of this soap cutter is made from solid Oak with a Catalyzed Conversion varnish, used in high end cabinetry to resist moisture and staining. The old time cabinetry grade workmanship of this soap cutter is evident.

The sliding soap "deck" is made from high density recycled plastic.

The stainless steel soap cutter wire is easily tightened with a  "key".

This sliding deck allows you to push the soap slab through the stationery wire for more control and accuracy.

MORE INFORMATION
For the best results we suggest this soap cutter be anchored to a solid surface if possible, as it may tend to slide if placed on a smooth surface, even though it does come with rubber "feet".
A non skid pad (like used under rugs) will help.

Each soap cutter comes standard with one soap cutter wire placed at whatever distance from the right side of the deck you wish.
For example: If you are using our 12# slab mold and want a log 2 1/2" X 3 1/2" the wire would be placed at 2 1/2" from the side as the mold makes a slab 3 1/2" thick.

To cut a full slab more efficiently, additional wires may be added to allow you to cut multiple logs at the same time. Up to 4 additonal wires can be added and spaced however you wish (minimum spacing allowed is 2") at a charge of $17.50 per wire.

The Log Splitter can accommodate a slab up to 17" long x 15" wide x 4 1/2" high.

If your slab tends to have a rough surface that needs to be trimmed, this soap cutter can take care of that as well.  This can be accomplished by placing the first wire on the splitter at the wider dimension of your soap bar and the use of a "spacer bar".

Example: If you are using our 12# slab mold, you would have the first wire on the cutter placed at 3 1/2".  To cut an entire 12# slab  into four  logs with one cut, and also allow for trimming with a 1" spacer bar,  you would add 2 additonal wires.  The wires would be spaced at 3 1/2" - 2 1/2" - 2 1/2".

First, you will want to cut your slab into four  2  1/2" wide logs. To do this, place a 1" spacer bar along the right side of the cutter deck. (This will make the space from the side to the wire 2 1/2").  Place the soap slab against the spacer bar and cut the slab into logs.

Then remove the spacer bar and turn one of the logs on it's side and place it on the cutter deck with the rough side facing the wire. You can then trim the log to a perfect 3 1/2" dimension.

The end result will be a  2 1/2" x 3 1/2" log.

Overall dimensions of the unit with deck in "storage" position are 23"long X 19" wide X 10" high.

NOTE: Each Log Splitter is made to order. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for your order to be processed and ready to ship.
